As I sat there eating my Mendocino Farms favorite, Kurobuta Pork Belly Banh Mi, I thought about how much I just love pork.
Mmm…pork.
And then I thought about CSI. I watch a lot of CSI and I often just randomly relate a lot of things I observe throughout the day to something even more random I learned from CSI.
In that particular pork-loving moment, I think about how pig parts are used in humans (i.e. human heart transplants), and how science experiments are done on pigs because they are the most like humans.
I stared at my pork belly sandwich and thought…do I like pork so much because it tastes…human?
Ew.
I was momentarily disturbed. Wondered briefly whether I would even know the difference between eating human flesh vs. pork belly.
But then I took another bite of my banh mi and shrugged. It’s all good…all the time.
Besides, how would I know what human flesh tastes like…? dun, dun, dun.
Okay, backing off the creepy train now.
Hella Random.
